I’m gonna have to bow out. I’m unable to keep up with this because I may be getting a kidney transplant soon and there are a lot of hoops to jump through.

“I should let you continue your work, and I will watch you with great intent” Natasha said hugging him.
Bruce kisses her firmly on the mouth before turning back to his work.

“Bruce, hush, it’s alright, everything will be ok” Natasha said as she kissed his hand.
Bruce smiles and hugs Natasha. “I hope so.”

“I’m sure he does, if he tries” Natasha said resting her head under his chin.
“I don’t want to risk that. I don’t want to risk you.”

“Maybe love can” Natasha said softly and stroked his hair.
Bruce smiles. “Hulk doesn’t believe in love.”

“Can I at least stay with you, Bruce?” Natasha said kissing Bruce once more.
Bruce bites his lip unsure what he should say. “I…I’d like that, just be ready to run. I know in the past you’ve tried to talk to Hulk but it isn’t safe. Nothing on this Earth can stop him for good.”

“You can fix anything my handsome man.” Natasha said.
Bruce smiles sadly. “Maybe. I’m sorry Natasha but I really need to work. The sooner I’m done the sooner I’ll feel safer being near you.”

Natasha smiled and kissed his lips.
Bruce keeps his eyes closed and softly caresses Natasha’s face. “I don’t know if I can fix this.”

Natasha frowned and kissed his cheeks and wiped his tears away.
Bruce smiles and hugs Natasha against him.

Natasha blushed, “Bruce I understand but I can’t stand to be anywhere without you, what about a few nights ago in the rec room” Natasha said as she wrapped her arms around him.
Bruce clenches his fist in front of him so hard his knuckles turn white. “When I woke up in after we were together I felt it right away. Hulk was trying to escape. I came here and mixed up some serum but it only made him back off a little bit. He’s still there. I don’t know why.” Bruce closes his eyes and tears trail silently down his face.
